Wonderful letters xxx

LaVoice

These are such interesting letters and great memories for you. Thank you for sharing such a personal part of your life.

Ann

Aren't you so glad the letters were saved! I have the letters my grandmother wrote to her parents in nursing school from Chicago circa 1916 and the letters she and my grandfather wrote to each other during WWII

GardenOfDaisies

OH my goodness, those letters are precious. What a treasure. We know a young man who just completed a college research project with with the letters written by his great great grandfather. ( He was a soldier in the Civil War.) So those letters in your hands may some day be valuable tools for someone trying to piece their family history together.

Rosie

What wonderful treasures to have. I have a couple of letters my dad wrote to his mom during WWII. We call them V-Mail. Thanks for sharing.
