Usually Don's parents make it a point to be back in New York by Mother's Day. This year, someone in the family who lives in the same development in Florida has been diagnosed with an advanced cancer and they're just hoping that her brother will have arrived by the end of the month so that they can be home by Memorial Day.
There's so little that Don and I can do from here, but I did make his mother and cousin each a votive card in the hopes that they will find comfort from the words and in a little soothing "candle" light at the end of a long day of appointments and treatments.
On a lighter note, I just noticed that this is my 200th post. I wish I had time for a giveaway or something, but that will have to wait at least until after my exam. Maybe for post 210? We'll see.
Almost forgot, the Serenity Prayer and Footprints stamps are Inkadinkadoo, the shells are the Starfish and Sand Dollar border from Rubber Stamp Tapestry.
Until next time.
